For Dry Acne:
It is best to use our Glycolic Skin line to correct your skin conditions and prevent yourself from aging prematurely or becoming highly sensitized resulting in possible breakouts and/or rosacea. This will also help with any scarring, fine lines, or dark spot that you have. You must be very cognizant of what products you use on your skin. You have the vulnerability of using products that may dry you out or age you even more rapidly. Our recommended acne protocol:
This is not a Skin Type, this is a condition as a result of an imbalance of your Skin’s barrier. There are three kits available. We recommend that you start with the Salicylic Trial Kit until your Skin Condition is Balanced and then move on to the Glycolic Trial Kit for deeper and more permanent results especially if you have any scarring or discoloration as a result of your previous breakouts. If you have extremely oily skin, back acne, or body acne then the BPO Trial Kit is ideal! Again, the Salicylic Kit and BPO Kit need only to be used for one month and then we encourage you to take the quiz again based on your skin’s new state. These kits can be drying although they are great for immediate clearing and restoration of your skin’s condition.
For long term results, again, we suggest switching to the Glycolic kit or Skin Type products afterwards. We encourage you to take the quiz again after this initial trial kit because the next step is to place you on the Oily, Combo, or Dry regime depending on the condition of your skin once the 28 day trial is completed. Remember the goal is to restore balance and normalize your skin’s condition to its natural state!
Tip: It takes 28 days for your skin’s cells to turnover meaning that it takes 28 days to see results from any particular product. This is why changing product lines or trying too many products at once may result in mixed results and heightened skin sensitivity which may manifest in other skin conditions like breakouts or dehydration. Give any new product or product line 28 days of consistent use to see the full results!
For quick relief of your blemishes, we highly recommend this Sulfur spot treatment known as the Hollywood Overnight Cure. You can apply it to blemishes before bed, under makeup, or on bare skin during the day. Let it soak in and dab off any excess if necessary. The acne drying lotion is a spot treatment for acne blemishes. It is also used for boosting an acne treatment or used in place of Benzoyl Peroxide or Salicylic Acid products if an allergic reaction develops. Resorcinol and Sulfur are drying agents that help to heal acne lesions and absorb excess oil without actually drying it.
